I just had to do it.

Only thing is they are my new H2O Tackle Lures and I had to take them back so I can try them out.

Awesome!!!Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one to give the babies hookless jerkbaits to play with.My daughter, who is 9, still has the 6"B-Flat she played with in her crib. They love hookless and "leadless" bucktails too. The more bushy the better.Very cute little boy Joe.You and Mama should be proud.Good luck this weekend! Steve

That's great, "Do they rattle to"? Which bait is more preferred, I like to toss it opening day?

Fun Pictures !

I can't ever get out of Bass Pro Shops if I have the kids along without them all picking a new lure for themselvs. Often they ask me to remove the hooks so they can play with them or hang them on their backpacks for school. I wonder what the teachers think?

I'm extremely relieved to know that I'm not the only one...
I have done the same w/ both boys...why buy rattles when you can buy rattling baits?
Great pics, I bet you can't wait til you're his netman!

I thought that was kly playing with your baits for a second.

Way to get 'em going in the right direction at an early age!!
See ya Saturday, bright and early!!

My baby's favorite is a white and orange 8" Phantom followed up by a Darter Lil Ernie. Good hard coat on that Phantom to hold up to those sharp little baby teeth!

His favorite is definetely the 6" Orange Nitro.

That might be my hot bait?

Funny one about Kly!

I'm sure you checked before giving these baits to the little tikes, but please be sure the baits do not contain lead.
Great pics. I wish I had thought of it when mine were that small.

Reel cute guys but beeeeee very careful with this game. very young children do not differentiate the safe no hook version from the one with hooks well. Come home late one night real tired and leave you gear in the wrong place and instant trip to the hospital.

Joe, why don't you take those baits and put up a mobile above his crib? Cool pics, looks like your having the time of your life being a dad.

I'll bet Tyler would like my new rod I made today. The hardest part was spooling up the reel with 4 lb. Can't hold those tiny handles, wrapping the guides was the easy part. I tied on my tiniest ice jig. I'm going to catch me a gill or sunny off a dock with this baby sometime.
