Who is fishing muskies across the country where season is open? Where are you headed, and what have the reports been?

Once again, heading to Webster. I will probably hit Tippy for a day as well. Leaving as soon as these kids get to go home. Heading to the lakes this afternoon and fishing through Sunday.

Hope to land some numbers with at least one quality fish!

Wsiconsin (South) Opener May 1 weekend
Heading to the Chain O Lakes in Waupaca, WI. There's some muskies in there, and I am going to keep my fingers crossed that I leave the ultralight in the rod rack until I see one, at least a follow...

Later,

In approx. 2 hrs. EST, I'll be slinging a T-Stick, Creeper or baby H-Wobbler for rockfish, wallies, barse, and the possible but highly unlike miniature 'ski on a local watering hole; considering the 3 previous days little Sponge and I have endured a grueling butt/gut fest, I hope I got the strength to hang for a few hours. Just glad to be able to get out in this 80* weather...

No musky fishing this weekend for me , promised to take the little woman out for some smallmouth fishing on the New River. Water was up some with all the rains from last week, but she did hang a 16" bass or so. Man she sure did have a big grin .

It was fun and that's what matters.

Had some follows and saw some fish on Friday, but wind and rain satrday and sunday killed those two days.. Did see 2 fish at Webster saturday that looked like they were still spawning but got the boat stuck getting to them..lol.. I guess being able to draft in 4 inches of water is different then being able to turn..Steve(Muskyboy) and i had to push-pole our way out of there with a paddle and the beckman net...
