| Oh! do I have a good one for you guys.
1)Remember I was supposed to go to Bay Da Noc to catch Monster Walleyes. Well my wife flooded my basement Saturday morning and everything I did not want to see was floating around. She took the cover off the floor drain and proceed to let dryer sheets go down there (I had very HIGH blood preasure I might add). So I rented a sewer machine and fixed it.. but no Monster Walleyes for me.
2)Then my transmisson went out again on my piece of crap Chevy Silverado.. So before I could even think about putting my boat on my truck to savage the weekend. I was down for the count. I could not even fish muskies.
3)Then my Mother inLaw came over. Enough said.[:knockout:] [:blackeye:] [:knockout:] [:blackeye:] [:knockout:] [:blackeye:]
4)Then the stupid Vikings could not beat my Mother, let alone the Chicago Bears.
Ok, I am done venting........Better things to come I hope.[;)] [] |

| Hee hee heeee....welcome to MY WORLD!!!...such things as you described happen daily here! I kicked back on the deck w/ little Sponge + watched 3 does in the back pasture as he tracked their every move w/ his new "Tootsie Toy Pump Shotgun". I went back behind the hacienda + observed 4 does + a 4 pointer play around my stand 'til 9:00 this morning then it got too hot + came home.....sorry to see you guys freezing up there...in the 70s here for the rest of the week probably. Actually went to the big mall today to shop + bought sponge babe a diamond ring that she is still in shock over....got it on my last quarter![;)] Actually it is a nice one + should enable me to fish/hunt for months to come! [:halo:] [:sun:] |

| Caught a monster 44"er on wednessday, but nothing else the rest of the weekend, mostly too windy for the boat. Fishing partener preceded to catch 2 30"ers on Saturday, on a firetiger supertrap (just like the one I caught my 44"er on, first day using the lure) |

| Jason this will cheer you up, by showing you the darker side of life...
I went today and did not put hooks into a musky after a long run of days when I did.
Somehow a dead buck deer got hooked into one of my spots. HMMM water quality??
I almost had to wear a coat today, it would have been the second time this fall(oh that might not cheer you up, sorry)
I did spot a really nice fish that made a drive by at dusk on one of my spots(oh that won't cheer you up either, sorry)
I am probably going to have to wear a jacket tommorrow(that should cheer you up)but the reason I will be wearing it is a slow moving cold front coming this way with clouds and rain(oh that might not cheer you up either, sorry).
I will probably have to fish all my spots tommorrow by myself, with the fish on the bite so to speak(oh that might not cheer you up either, I know that will make you feel kind of sorry for me). Tell you what, cmon down and you can have the back of the boat...
oh and bring that bait along that you are gonna let me use and never showed to Jason Long...[;)] [] |

| I was going to take my kids saturday to a bass pond but the weather cleared to late. Went to silver sunday which is a wonderful place to go when there is a gale wind. Trolling motor never came off of high and it took three hours before it would not keep up. Had one fish grab a sucker without taking any line and forrest(me) decided to wait untill my dad got into the back of the boat(it was his turn) and let him set the hook. The fish let go which I seen later it had a perfect t-bone on the sucker. We got soaked on the way back to the ramp as the waves crashed over the front. Nice way to end the wisconsin season.[:((] |
