I dont know why someone deleted my subject matter. Must be political. Anyways here goes. Mepps marauboos bleed and will ruin your boat carpet guys. Dont use these if you value your carpet. Field tested these lures and still put them on the market knowing the colors bleed badly.

I am pretty upset about it. Iv'e always used Mepps. Called the company today and they are sending me some new bucktails. Hopefully they are aware now. It just iritated me that they field tested this and never found out?

Actually I have used these baits quite a bit, and yes there is some bleeding the first time you use them. You will be happy to know that the color will not bleach out of the tail and the stain in your boat will come out as soon as it gets wet again. I had many marabou "stains" in the boat last year and could not find one of them after a rain.
