Hope everyone has a blessed Easter, and enjoy the day w/ your families, friends, neighbors, villagers, etc...don't forget to leave a carrot out for the Easter Bunny. When hiding real eggs, remember to GPS their location, and the shelf life for a boiled egg is no more than 1 week from date of boiltation...arrange candy/toys in the basket so as to be astectically pleasing to the eye, and make sure you have your spouse fix the breakfast that YOU want; I be having hot sausage, grits, country ham, red eye gravy and java. Followed by the butt and back prtion of a choco bunny...don't think about having to go to work Monday morning, and don't let the song Peter Cottontail get stuck in your head!

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | ...here comes peter cottentail, hopping down the bunny trail.. Dang you Sponge. We, even with 4 kids, have Never ever had that fake plastic grass in our home that is so popular to use in the baskets. My wife buys each kid a new plastic pail for the sandbox or beach and writes their name on it then stuffs it full of energy (say sugar). They dont even know what they are missing and there is none of that grass crap in the rug or down in the sofa and they have their new pail for the season ![]() This post cant last long on the "Muskie" board. Maybe this will help.... Every easter the Easter Muskie comes to our house and leaves a nice pile of slime in a Basket filled with fake grass at our house and..

He set second quick time, won the heat and the feature. Easter is happy around here. http://www.debsfunpages.com/easterswf/rapeasterbunny.swf

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | Well the boys were up at 6:30 looking for their baskets (buckets). The Easter Bunny (mom) hides them at our house. One was even in the oven. When I stumbled out my wife was on the couch and she told me that the baby was comming today. I replied "I know". She said how did you know? I said I had a dream last night that I was talking to Paige (our babys name) and I told her that she was born on Easter Sunday and we didn't even have an Easter dinner. She is pretty far along and will definatly deliver today. Being our 5th child, momma knows what/when is going on. This is a week early and will increase my chances of not missing the opener on the 24th, remember my whining post?. I shouldn't go there but truth be known it has already crossed my mind. I have NOT mentioned this thought to my wife however ![]()

Don't mean to be "pushy" but...whisper to her that today would be a GREAT day to give birth on the sofa; now would be a good time to have a bunch of that basket grass handy! Anyhows, hope everything works out ok; bet you'll make the opener, as she'll be in a much better mood once the baby finds it's way out. I could have been gone a month after little Sponge was born and she'd never have known. Her friends/family smothered her and little dude, telling me I'd have plenty of time as he grew to see him, so I went fishing. The warm weathr made egg seeking a pleasure this morning, just had to wipe the dirt and leaves off before consuming. Struggling to take a bite outta that brown Bunny though, those big eyes just stare back eveytime I get ready to bite; must be getting soft in me old age! Let us know when the delivery transpires! ![]()

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | Paige Olivia Esox Lobbestael made her grand entry into the world today at 5:40 pm. All went like clockwork, smooth as power-pro. A whopping 6 lbs 4 oz, our smallest yet. Momma is great, baby is great! Was a textbook delivery with zero complications. With four older brothers that all love to fish I'm sure she will be there too someday. The pic is only a couple of minutes after delivery and she still looks a little angry about being pushed out into this harsh world. Attachments ---------------- ![]()
