Darrel was instrumental in the early MWC in many ways, designed and built the first 'Muskie Only' boat, and was a mainstay at Tuffy Boats for nearly 25 years. I am sure he will be missed. Darrel intends to fish, hunt, and maybe fish some more. Good luck and enjoy your retirement, my friend.

There isn't a safe Pike within 35 miles of Hayward.

Darrel-

I haven't talked to you since I left Lake Mills, but I hope things have been well for you. Hoping they only get better now that you can enjoy your time.

Congratulations Darrel, you are responsible for hundreds of thousands of hours of fishing enjoyment from all your devotion to making a quality boat. Enjoy every second of your retirement, and don't be a stranger at the sports shows.

By the way, what is going to happen to your retirement countdown clock that you kept on your desk?

Congratulations Darrel, somebody's got some big shoes to fill over there at Tuffy.
