Posts: 1419 Location: Brighton CO. | I've bought a few lures and some parts (metal lips) to do some modifications. 1. I have some lures that need repairing that are above my skill level. 2. I have some new lure blacks that need to be painted. 3. I have a old treble hooked Spinnerbait that I would like to be rebuilt. 4. I have a couple lures I've been looking for I'll try to secure. 5. And I'm looking for a book that's out of print. I'll jump on these sooner then latter.

Posts: 646 Location: Duluth | Bought a new house with a heated garage so now I can finally tackle things that have evaded me while the boat was wrapped. Time to rewire the entire boat, extend my casting deck and install aquatraction. I haven't been this excited for a boat project in a long time probably because it's not under shrink and at work lol.

Posts: 224 Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | Thankfully I live somewhere I can open water fish year round. Now until the end of February I will be smallmouth fishing the Mississippi downstream of a power plant, March April I walleye fish the Mississippi and musky fish Iowa if I can make it, May I bass fish here and musky fish wisco. I am going to build some topwaters and possibly a jerkbait, as well as building a pile of bucktails for myself and friends. A bunch of people caught fish on bucktails I built them so pleanty of people want more

Posts: 398 Location: SW Ohio | Our company's holiday shutdown starts 12/25 for 8 days. Hoping it stays mild but not holding out hope. Stranger things have happened. Other than that, I'll be getting back into ham radio and waiting for the musky show in Columbus.

Posts: 111 | 1. Continuing learning on how to modify my own stuff. My wire work to add blades to things is bad, i.e. closing the .051 wire around itself is sloppy and loose. I have to do better. 2. Getting better with the Iwata spray gun to paint blades (maybe eventually cranks, but I have ZERO artistic ability.) 3. Getting a Just Encase placed on the back of my boat 4. Getting better with the cricut so I can make better stencils for painting.

Posts: 8787 | I usually occupy myself in the off season dealing with all the stuff that broke during the season. Lures without lips, blades falling off, lures that stopped working after one small fish, cleaning and repairing reels, etc. This winter is going to be expensive. My rain gear soaks up water like a sponge, my boots are coming apart and no longer waterproof, truck needs brakes and tires, having trouble with the lights on my trailer, blew out a bearing buddy, probably should get new tires for the trailer, too.

Posts: 160 | I hunt through December and then sort my socks in Jan and February. Things start to pick up again in March when I begin to re-tool and re-spool reels for the upcoming season. Ice fishing is not for this guy
