I was looking at getting a Long Ranger from Team Rhino and see this in the description - Over 8' Shipping only to WI, IL, MN, and Iowa. I put the rod in my cart and it comes up as free shipping even after I put in my info that it was going to PA.

Does this mean that if I place the order it will be cancelled?

I buy stuff from Team Rhino there should be a phone number to call, I've had good customer service with them.

as long as it collapses below 8' (which I believe that one does) you should be OK. Anything over 8' needs to be shipped as freight

I got a TRO email the tother day with a rod offer. Looks like they’ll contact you and figure out shipping after..

“Please note we offer free shipping on these rods to WI, IL, MN, Iowa, and parts of Nebraska. We will also ship rods 8' and under to the other places in the 48 United States. Unfortunately rods over 8' are too expensive to ship outside the states mentioned above to qualify for free shipping. If you place an order for a rod that is over 8' we will contact you with a shipping cost prior to shipping (typically $145 or more)“

TRO is apparently using Speedee Delivery for rods over 8'. The cost for shipping a rod over 8' outside of their coverage area is just ridiculous.

Their store shipping software probably doesn't account for these variables, so placing the order over the phone may be a good idea if you are able to.
