Heading to Cave Run in about 2 weeks or so and don't know if I'll be able to throw the bigger stuff, HOWEVER I will be throwing some jig. As this is early spring and I'm sure that the bite will be shallow , What weight jig would you suggest foe shallow water? I'm convinced that 1.5oz jigs would be on the heavy side and was wondering if 3/8oz jig will have enought hook to hold a good ski. Also , what colors do you suggest?

Thanks for the help.

3/8 is plenty with a 4/0 or 5/0 hook. Remind me, and I will have a supply there for you.
