Ayden Froeschle (pronounced Freshly) had the most points and won the 2022 Frank Schneider Tournament at the age of 17. Then in 2023, the now 18-year-old Ayden won again, this time with a stunning eight fish. Is he unbeatable? Ayden is forthright about his preparation for, and his fishing during the Tournament. Ayden is one of the youngest full-time muskie guides, guiding on the Saint Croix, Leech Lake area, and western Minnesota.

Joining Ayden is his friend and mentor, well-known guide Matt Siefert. Matt, with the Mattlock lure named after him, brings humor and levity to every room he enters. Matt mainly guides in the Leech Lake area. Expect the unexpected.

We are meeting at Sweeney's Saloon on Dale Street in Saint Paul, a few blocks south of Interstate 94. Have Dinner with your muskie buddies from 5 to 7 PM, from the inexpensive Sweeney's menu, in a reserved room off the kitchen. The meeting follows upstairs at 7 PM. Meeting is Free and you do not have to be a Muskies Inc member to attend.
