Just walked up the hill from the creek(got a trout stream 75yds from my front door) with my head hung low. It seems like my granddaughter has caught the fishing bug. In a mater of about 10 minutes , she skunked me 4 to NOTHING!!!!!!! Wonder how long it will be before she starts "borrowing" my jerk bait rod and saying,"Papaw, will you take me to the lake to catch a musky?" Lord I can't wait!! She's only 4 but it seems like she has caught the "bug" bad!!
Ain't life grand!!

Mauser- That's a start- now you're relegated to baitman, fish unhooker and most importantly Netman! Wahooooooooo! Fish on Papaw get the net! I can hear the screeches of delight! Have fun- they are what it's all about.Al Warner"All Water is Zalt Water"http://www.zaltnad.com

Mauser, enjoy every minute of it. I surely don't mind it when my kids outfish me. Times like those will help the neck feel better.

I am about to be a Grandpa this month. Keith and Brandy are expecting in a couple weeks. I can't WAIT to spoil that child!! Enjoy every second, sir. It'll be a heartbeat and she will be graduating from High School.

Steve, congrats on being a Grandpa-to-be! You're gonna have a blast (I wish my grandpa had a big muskie boat, he was a row-troller). I've met Mauser's granddaughter and she's a peach. m

Mauser: Glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to go fishing with your grand daughter, just be carefull and don't push it.

Steve: Congrats on the soon to be grandpa, we are still waiting for our daughter to give us some happy news my wife would like a grandchild now but I can wait.

Speaking of children how's Ashton doing?

Mauser-
Hold your head up high ... all that means is that you are a great teacher.
I for one say, GOOD FOR YOU!!
Kids are this sport's future.
