Posts: 572 Location: Germantown, WI | Doesn’t this site still take some photos , interviews , and videos from the Chicago show? Seems like a time there would b reports back daily from these shows with 50 different people sharing what they bought….. too bad that doesn’t happen anymore

Posts: 811 | I think so. I remember when there would be posts with each day and all the cool baits, etc. I have not seen anything that anyone has got so it’s hard to tell what is new this year.

Thanks for the posts and connections. How was attendance? Saw photos from the Milwaukee Boat Show this past weekend and attendance looked a little light compared to a couple years that I attended.

Ok, I am going to start buying lottery tickets, 'cuz that is the only way I can get that 2085 Recon. Talk about a dream boat. Looks like a boat a fisherman designed, even the location of the rear butt seat. Seeing that big tiller motor, was reminded of a presentation at my service club in Fond du Lac by the then Chief of Staff for Mercury about 15 years ago. In response to a question about big tiller motors, he smiled and said they were not actually profitable for Mercury but that their pro anglers and others in the fishing community wanted them. He said they would never forget that folks who fished were the ones who helped build their company.

When Andrew was with Recon and demonstrated the foot slip off the gunwale/gunnel, oh man that had me laughing this morning. All I could picture was how funny it'd be if the interview turned into a Chris Farley bit. Oh I miss that man's comedic gold.

And since we do NO two take videos, would have been fun to try to fall, pop up, and keep going.

Posts: 533 Location: NW WI | ^ Rip the hinges off a storage compartment and flip over the edge onto concrete and you may have been an internet sensation and gotten a boat at heck of a discount. XD.
