| Plano big water box not accommodating a lot of the bigger baits I now use. Any suggestions for off the shelf tackle boxes that might fit bigger lures? Or am I going to just need to stuff them in deep tackle trays. I saw some boxes by "Lakewood" that looked unreasonably expensive. Thanks in advance for tips. |

Location: Walker, MN | If you don't want to spring for the Lakewood Extreme, you might have to build something. Pieces of vinyl fence post in a plastic tote. Those plastic handgun cases with foam inside work for carrying a few baits, I'll do this when jumping in someone else's boat with a couple of trolling baits. |

| Last year to accommodate big lures, including some big trolling lures, I took a suggestion off here and bought a large food delivery bag off Amazon. About $20. Then I bought the bigger gutter drain pipe, 4", Cut it into 14" long pieces, took small zip ties and tied them together at the top. Put a piece of stiff cardboard in the bottom of the bag and it holds a couple dozen large lures. A 12 inch Headlock fits no problem and that has a sizable "lip". Think I have about $50 in it all together. |

Location: PA Angler | Think outside of fishing lol. I use pencil cases or stuff like that even food Tupperware containers. Tool containers. My tackle box is a book bag.

Location: MN | Plano 3731 can hold four 12" mattlocks or five 12" headlocks. They make even bigger open compartment containers (7080) that might work for giant baits. |
