Did anyone see the Cabela's Mille Lac's Muskie show today on the Outdoor Life Network?

There where two experienced fishermen who caught many muskies.

When they netted the fish, they did the old, put the net on the floor of the boat trick, let the fish flop around, and strugle to get the bait and hook out. To top it off, It looked like it was a warmer part of the season as they didn't have coats on.

I feel a show which is seen by the masses should at least demonstrate proper handling. I don't want to think of how many inexperienced people may have seen the show and think that is the way to release a musky. This is one thing I really look up to Pete Mania for, as he is always stressing the proper handling techniques when he is in the public's eye.

I wrote Cabela's an e-mail at [email protected] and expressed my concerns. Please feel free to do the same.

Coincidence... see my reply to the Gillespie show email.. Then I read this post.

Glad others are not too timid to write the producers.
