Anyone have any reel repair suggestions in the Minocqua/Eagle River area? I know Mat’s, but just talked to them and they are booked out to July right now. Open to shipping a somewhere as well. Thanks!

Try The Sportsman Repair shop in Mosinee, WI.. I've used them twice with good results and prompt service. https://sportsmansrepair.com/

Sportsman's repair shop in Mosinee is really good. I've used them for like 30 years. I've had great results. I just sent my reels to them in Feb and got back in like 3 weeks. not sure on the lead-time now but they are really good and reputable.

Verns Reel Repair in Ohio is really good and reasonably priced. I went to his shop last year and I was impressed with the volume of work he had there and how well organized he kept everything. When my reels came back they were in great shape. I forget what he charged me for 3 but I think it was around $20 each for 2 Calcutta Conquests and a TE. You can find him on Facebook. It is verns reel repair and custom builds. Hope this helps.

Sportsman’s repair, Mosinee. Last I checked Chuck is still there doing repairs, not owner anymore but still fixing reels. He’s the best.
