When I browse through eBay, very often I see some crankbaits sold. I think they are custom-made. The name of the seller is Hawaiisbest60. Has anyone bought these lures? And how is the action?

This is the crankbait I am talking about. I didn't want to attach the picture because it's not mine.

Yes, He makes them. I bought a couple but have yet to find any soft water. They seem bullet proof. 1/4 inch lips (not 1/16 or even 1/8 inch thick). Somone on this board had bought some and said they ran good, sorry can't remember who.

Hawaii's Best are pretty darn good lures. We have several of them....both straight and jointed models. The straight ones run great. Nice big wobble. Only trolled them for a few minutes this fall. Just got the jointed one, and it's never been in the drink yet.

The 10" models look like baby wishmaster's....they are built like a brick $hithouse.

I just bought a 10 inch topwater from him on ebay last week, what an awsome looking bait, I was pleasently suprised when it arrived in the mail the other day.  I can't wait to use it.

here's a link to the one I bought.

Matt, looks like a good looking topwater, but I am maxed out on topwater, unless it works real well, or has a different action than most.If you can remember, email me on your evaluation of this lure once you use it.I am a big topwater user, but I have 5 new topwater lures, I am going to be trying out as it is, plus running my Topraiders. Thanks,

Jay, I'll be sure to let you know what I think of this lure and it's action.

Danny, you can email him by going to one of his items for sale and selecting the ask seller a question option.

Danny, as stated above, email him from one of his auctions. He is happy to sell them as well as the unfinished kits outright.

I bought a couple of his straight 7", nice looking lures. I tried them the other day and they both ran crooked, but I didn't have pliers heavy enough to bend the screw eye! Definitely heavy duty. Nice wide wobble, the only thing I didn't like was that they are very bouyant, no hang time. I think it was ToddM saying he could get over 5 mph with them trolling. Hopefully I'll be trying that in a few weeks!

I bought some and can't wait to use them. They are thicker than any other twitchbait that I've seen, that should really help out on windy days. Good finish, strong clear coat, but I increased the hook size on all of them. Square thick lip....I'm expecting good things from them.

All of his stuff is good. Can't beat the prices on some of them. Topwaters work great and the cranks have great roll. They troll good too.

Todd turned me on to them last season. The 7"s are great. I also got a couple 10"s. The 10" are pretty bouyant so you have to tug them to get them down. Probably a better troller then a twitcher.

Hey Lobi,
Do you have his email address? I'm not a member of ebay so they won't let me email hawaiisbest60.
Thanks,
Stan

Stan, I know I'm not Lobi but I figured I'd help you out.  I ended up buying a couple more baits from him, the 7 inch cranks.  Anyway here's his email.  [email protected]
