Posts: 32887 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Any reports for the weekend? I fished Bayfield county with my son Brian for brookies and panfish, had a blast and caught a bunch of trout, crappies, and bluegills. Muskie opener a couple of weeks away. Posts: 1415 Location: Brighton CO. | I want to take a day trip into the mountains for a day of Trout fishing later this week, and have been doing research on some local Panfishing spots too.

Posts: 2269 Location: SE, WI. | The cabbage pods are really developing nicely in SE WI. Musky are about 2.5-3.5 weeks post Spawn, and starting to finally get a bit more active. The Mrs. Got a low 30’s in The Pewaukee Musky classic Saturday and Tuesday we got an upper 30’s. Fish was very clean, with zero scars from spawn. Gills still staging. In Deep weeds, but a few are now sliding in Shallow to spawn. Spanked a few this past Monday JD

Just getting my boat back from the shop today but did lend my canoe to a couple who did real well on brook trout this past weekend in Langlade County.

Posts: 187 | Pike has been pretty good this year so far. Opener was May 1st, biggest fish so far is this 41.5in. Probably got half a dozen fish over 35in, saw another 40in class fish but couldn't get her to go. Posts: 1415 Location: Brighton CO. | Northerns are fun as heck, I'll take my waders up to the high country when the snow melts and run off is complete. It's nice when you can catch Muskie sized Pike
