Location: Long Prairie, Minnesota | Happy day everyone! Wondering about the drivers seat on my 681. I would like to make it so the seat would actually swivel so it’s easier to look around the boat while driving. Has anyone ever done this and is it as simple as buying a swivel, ripping the seat out and installing it? Thanks in advance for any help! |

| I pulled the seat off mine last year to fix some bolts that were stripped out. I wound up mounting a couple 2x4's to the boat so I could drill new holes and then mounting the seat bracket to the 2x4's. End result being that I could have the seat a few inches further back and up a bit higher. World of difference as far as comfort.
I would think what you're trying to do would be really easy. |

Location: Northern Illinois | If you have a few extra bucks, a Smooth Moves seat suspension is a game changer. You would also be able to swivel. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Still have to have the ability to lock a helm seat in forward position USCG regs and some wardens/safety patrol folks will check. |
