Posts: 58 | Anyone have any opinions on these? I was thinking of picking one up and throwing it for a while, where I would normally be throwing a ninja or monster tube. Actually couldn't find many reviews. Figure I might try to show the fish something different. Edit: Realized this post should have gone in the tackle section, hope that is okay with mods Edited by EsoxWanderer 10/29/2022 7:57 AM

Posts: 944 | I just started using them last season. They are fish catchers for sure. Tons of fish in the boat for me and clients- lots 40-49". They are something the fish haven't seen much of and are very easy to use and throw all day. They have great action. Make sure you always use a wire leader with them most of the 45"+ fish have the whole tube and 1-2" of leader in their mouth.... Team Rhino has a load of awesome colors of the twisted tubes I use these Mid weight ones- https://teamrhinooutdoors.com/products/red-october-baits-10-twisted-... Posts: 58 | Thanks for the feedback all. I did give them a try yesterday. The Monster/Ninja tubes seemed to 'rule' the day with 3 follows between them (and one follow on a glider). The Twisted Tube mid depth seems like a really versatile lure though, I'll definitely keep it in my box. Maybe the fish just were just interested in something a bit more subtle yesterday after the cold night. I was fishing the twisted tube like a Bulldawg basically. Posts: 333 Location: SE Wisc | I’ve only caught one fish on the twisted tube, but it was 53.25”. And that was 7 years ago. Admittedly I don’t have the time to fish as much as I used to with 3 kids now under the age of 5 but they certainly have a time and place(the lure that is lol

Posts: 57 | I would also like to add, rotate the tube 180 deg on the harness (tail curling down). Tails seem to have a much different action this way, they seem to open up better.
