| I have seen this "Turd",,, Its quite the turd. When I looked at it in the mouth of a 40lb fish Steve mounted years ago. It looks like it has been through WW1 and WW2.
There is no doubt that this bait that looks like a Snodo has caught many large fish.
I have seen his other turds working in the water, and they are the best flaptails I have ever seen.
This is a once in a lifetime offer,

This IS a great cause, and one more touching than I can post here, suffice it to say the boy will have a very rough time for a few years, as will his Mom, and neither deserves that.

|
| hey, Sponger,
This is a fund I set up to help a little future muskie angler born with a BUNCH of trouble...He will need at least 7 surgeries over the next few years, and will have a tough time of it, no matter. His Mom is one of the best, but this is going to stress the resources of these good folks...and I can help. I have been raising money every year for the Ronald McDonald charities since I lost Kevin, one of my twins, back 11 years ago. This is an opportunity for me to help a young fellow in need, and be able to actually see the results!
The auction will close out November 15, 2001. Anyone looking to donate a buck or two can do so by emailing me at [email protected]. $5 is a long shot better than $0, so anything is appreciated! Checks are to be made out to Ashton Fund/Jody Holbrook, and mailed to me at 3790 Foster Lane, Rhinelander, WI 54501.[] [] [] [] [] [:0] |

|
| Heartfelt thanks go out to Beav!! He is the auction high bidder, and gets all the goodies, including the bait and rod. I owe you one, my friend!!!
Ashton took his third trip to Madison today from "up north" to see one of the specialists, and will be taking MANY more for consultation and surgery. The top shelf surgical team in Madison will do a wonderful job, I am sure, and the money raised here will help defray the costs of travel and lodging for his Mom.
Ashton is looking at 7 plus YEARS of this, so I will be after everyone from time to time; always trying to make the auction items worth the highest bid I expect, or close, at least...
Thanks go out to Michael---Your donation is truly appreciated, and will be put to GREAT use!![] [] [] [] |

Ashton's doctor visit went well today, and the surgery process will begin in a few weeks. |
