What's your favorite paint pattern? Picture?

Winter project time and looking to learn to paint some new ones lets see hear what you like / use the most.

Been thinking the same as I’m making my own plastics. Yellow and gold colors have worked great this year. Had a lot of good hits on the trout lure.

Dark on semi dark. Any combo of purples, blues, blacks, dark green, dark brown. With some subtle metallic accents.

Another neat color you rarely see is having a TRUE grey as the dominant color.

A bait type that I'm surprised hasn't made it us is a Musky Sized SPY bait. I'd buy one definitely.

I did this one last year. Just recently bought some new pearl purple to expand on idea.

Nice! I like the subtle gradation between the two shades. I know alot of us believe in regards to bait color that contrast is important. And I'd mostly agree, but at times I think a few colors working together to essentially "create one color" (when the baits moving in water) can be a better option. Just like you did there. Especially when they're feeling lazy and your presentation is slower, they can still pick out the differences in shade/color when they're slowly lurking and studying your bait.

Looks great I think the pearl makes those colors look good.

A walleye pattern like this works everywhere and is tough to beat in my opinion. I always love a good jailbird pattern too though.

I second the Perch pattern. I've thrown Cisco in the fall and still do better on Perch.
