Clearing leaves on my property this morning and looked down at the dock which was surrounded by leaves. I personally avoided these area because it's such a pain in the a-- to try and fish around them because of casts always fouling up.But, leaves can provide a temporary cover for baitfish, show us direction of current, which can be very important in flowages. Next time out, gonna try fishing the leave lines. Kdawg

I was on a Canadian Pike trip a friend had to go back and give something to another friend and left me on a lake shore I had a rod so rigged up and was going to cast so I put a lure on and dropped it in the water by my feet and there was a patch of pollen floating and about a three foot Northern smashed lure down by my feet. ( the lure was a Rizzo Big T) and when it landed on the water the top side and the hit on the part with no hooks. So I missed him.
