The water temps are in the upper 80's. Probably shouldn't chase the skis.

Location: Illinois | don't chase muskies period in these temps is my best advice. The lake is weedy, stained, and the boat launch is so tiny it's difficult to put in. Good luck

Posts: 1 | Fished Bruce 7/2/22. Water temperature 78-81. Caught one 35” musky. Fish did extremely well on release. Kept fish in net entire time until ready for pictures. These fish are stocked in the lake by the State of Indiana. Fish for them in any water temp. Your taxes go towards stocking those fish. Do the best you can to care for and release the fish and go from there.

Bruce has a very big littoral zone, not much deep water and a shallow thermocline. Edited by ToddM 7/4/2022 8:17 PM
