Posts: 1785 | Seems Green Bay has a bunch of fish and they are big. Is this just a cycle or do you think it will stay like this forever now? Any fear the pressure will cause a collapse? Is trolling a good method there? I have no knowledge of Green Bay so any ideas or opinions would be welcome.

Future looks bright for the Bay. We fish it a lot. Many fish over the 53" mark were caught last year biggest I know of last year was 56.5". I will say the pressure has doubled if not tripled over the last few years. Many TV shows and YouTube stuff promoting it. Regardless of that you will have to put your time in, the bay is 120 miles long and 10-20 miles wide at different points. And guess what, it holds muskies throughout that entire range. I would advise hiring a guide if you plan on fishing it, it will cut your earning curve drastically.

Exactly right. Plus there are endless spots to fish from East to West, North and South, fish have been stocked all over the bay. best part is there are so many ways to catch them. Knowing Seasonal patterns to use throughout the year is key as different forage types move in and out. Water temps dictate what forage to target alewives', shad to perch.
