Now it is getting bad..Waiting for the soft water season.

I'm Cleaning my rods!

Liquid soap and a brush will bring back those dingy corks. The guides have this stuff stuck in them from the power pro that also comes out nice with a tooth brush. Good time to look for chipped guides with a cotton swab and bend back anything that was bumped. Polish the entire rod with a soft cloth and it looks a lot newer than it did a few minutes ago.

Anyone else getting this boared? Got any hot off season rod care tips to share? Can you make the ice melt on the lakes?
