| Mine is to always remember how fortunate I am to live where I can walk out the door, go fishing and enjoy the great northwoods. My favorite memory of last season was not of a fish caught but of an October evening shortly after sunset, with the trees fall colors barely visible and against the skyline suddenly several flocks of northern flight ducks came into a wild rice bed not far from where I was fishing. It was like something out of an Owen Gromme print. |

Mine is to actually fish more.... Hoping with the canadian border being back open, more people will head that way rather than stay home and fish local waters.... I will hopefully get out more, but with wife's surgery tenatively planned for June, I will be quite busy assisting her in various ways through recovery.
