Posts: 427 | I am trying to decide on which lake to hit for a mid October 4 day trip. Will be fishing out of a 1750 fishhawk with a 115. Which lake would be more fishable this time of year out of that size boat?

Posts: 20235 Location: oswego, il | Both. I have the same boat and fish LSC alot. Just watch the wind and work around it if you have to. I have at time had to drive by road and fish s different part of the lake.

Posts: 283 | If you want to cast more I’d say lsc and can drive to other parts depending on wind. Can troll either lake that time of year but less casting seen on gb that time of year

Posts: 617 Location: Michigan | LSC always has the rivers and channels if the wind gets too bad on the lake. Fish might be pushing to the channels at that time anyway if the water is cool enough.

Posts: 538 Location: northern indiana | I'm leaving this Friday morning for Green Bay for a week. I live. 4 hours from St. Clair and 8 hours from Green Bay. The Bay isn't great for numbers but Claire fish don't compare in size.

Posts: 35 | If you're looking for action LSC for sure. I've had multiple 20 fish days out there with 2 guys in one boat. when the timing is right it can be insane. I've seen 3 different fish circling/slashing at my bait on the same cast out there many times as well. Good luck.

Posts: 390 | I grew up on GB and lived on LSC for a couple years. LSC is more fishable if the weather gets windy. If you get a north wind on the bay the rivers or the very few sheltered bays are your only option. While most troll this time of year, I have caught plenty casting you will just have to venture away from the trolling hoards, the trolling can get a bit aggressive with the amount of people out there. More fish on LSC better shot at a biggin on the bay.
