Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Anyone use one of these for suckers? Looking to hold 3-5 medium suckers but not have to use the livewell. |

| Interested to see if anyone else has experience using these for suckers as well. I have used 5 gallon buckets(1/2-3/4 filled) for a few suckers at a time in years past and the engel 19QT is close to 5 gallons so it should be fairly suitable? |

Location: Michigan | I don't have experience with that specific cooler, but I just made my own for pretty cheap. Just buy a cheap cooler and then a bubbler unit or two.

| I kept two BIG suckers alive for four days in my Engel 19 quart. Took four up north, and put two in the boat right away, and didn't fetch the other two until day four, and they were fine. I don't think I would have kept all four in there, that long, as they were quite large. If it's cool, keep them on the porch, if it's not very cool, put a blue ice pack in there, to keep the water cold. |

| I need to correct my earlier post. After thinking about it, I went down to the basement, and checked, and my Engel cooler is a 30 quart, not a 19. Sorry for any confusion. |
