Subject: Painting Lures? Airbrushing?

I'm beginning to build my own lures this winter and would like some tips about painting lures? Whats your best method? Does anyone use an airbrush? For the airbrush, what is the best model for lures? Paint? Any beginner tips?
Thanks,
MJB

I`ve been air-brushing lures for a couple of years now. I've got a Pasche double action brush and a compressor. For paint I've been using enamels and pearls that I get from a local hobby shop. I also use a 2-part epoxy top coat that I get from Moores Lures that you can thin out for air-brushing.
Plan on practicing alot before you actually tackle some 'new' lures. It's lots of fun and actually pretty easy to get the hang of.
If I can do it anybody can.
There's no limitation to your imagination.
