Does anybody hook their suckers backwards on a quikstrike, i.e. on in the tail and one near the dorsal. This is how I hook them when tipup fishing. I realize that this would not work for trolling them, but when under a bobber while anchored or on a very slow drift wouldnt it work. I would think that it would allow the bait to swim more naturally, and if you set it high it will continually try to swim down into the weeds.

Anybody trying this?

Thanks -
Luke

B, The times I tried it they were always getting tangled up, way more then face hooked ones. These were 14"-16" sizes though.
