| Do you think the economy is going to improve enough by spring to have boat companys and dealers get off two days work weeks. The industry seemed to get hit hard after Sept 11th. Maybe we should all buy a new boat and some more new baits to give the fishing industry a lift. I know of some boat dealers that folded this fall.. Sad to see.[:((] |

| I may buy both a new boat + a new truck....at least a newer truck w/ king cab...but I really want a Toyota Landcruiser. I have a baby boat for the river + may get another Carolina Skiff center console for fresh/saltwater fishing but as always I never know....I drive by + pull in + purchase on a whim...drives the wife nuts but I get too confused if I try to think things out! I say we start a fund for those who wish to make major purchases this spring!!!!![:0] [:sun:] |

| My dad will buy a new boat this winter. He found an angler 17 ss stripped and new for a song. I may sell mine to pay some lawyer bills or keep it and put my motor on my dad's new boat and put a 15 I mean 10 four stroke on mine for the local water. With my kids and vacation that's six and soon everybody will be casting so two boats will be a neccesity. |

| Jason,
Many of the industry forecasts are calling for an additional 10% drop in sales over the next season. The industry can hardly afford that, so I hope they are wrong.

| Jason,
I'm not sure if you or Scott have had any activity on trying to sell yours but I have had only one response to my add on WC-Classifieds.
I only hope that the confidence of the consumer rebounds this winter/spring. I too am concerned for the dealers and some of the manufacturers. Regardless of what brand they sell/support it's not good for our business.
I am truely glad at a time like this we are associated with a company that is diverse in what they manufacture but have been thinking/concerned about the guys at the factory as well.
