I bought a beckman net last winter at the Pittsburgh show it was a fin saver extra deep. I used it all year and it now have a grand total of 5 holes in the bottom of it. I tryed to email beckman 2 different times and didnt get anything back. Is there any other way to get ahold of them that i dont know about? I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and what they did to fix it? Thanks Mike Money

I am certain Beckman will handle your problem well; they are a great company! I don't have contact information here, but there is a net thread with several references to Beckman, maybe that wil have the information you need.

Well, i must have been those 200 fish...never heard of holes like that in any net, from on year's usage...i'd check where/how you are storing it on your boat. is the bag catching or hanging on something that might create a weak spot? are you cutting it w/ your hook cutters when trying to cutt hooks? i see folks try thier best to abuse nets, and i never heard of 5 holes in one year????? good luck cash$
there might be a "catch" in your landing system that is creating these holes. are you catching it on clete? or somethign like that?

I havent really done any thing different from the net i had last year which was a beckman also, i used it for 5 years and didnt have any holes in it. I have my net sticking out the back of my boat out of the way so i dont think thats it. I use alot of big baits in the fall with big hooks they seem to rap up in the net more and tighter thought that might be it. I have a freind that got a hole in his fin saver the first time he put a fish in it. I just wondered how many people had problems with them? I love beckman nets i think they are the best out there just kinda unhappy about how easy it is to get holes in the new style they have came out with.
