Tried to order this motor today. The saleperson told me that this is a 36 volt system (requiring 3 batteries). The Minnkota website says its a 24 volt. Anybody know, as I can't fit three batteries in my boat for this.

I'm pretty sure it's a 24 volt. I think the 101 (or 106) lb. thrust motor is 36 volt. 74 may come in either configuration though...

It's a 24-volt model. The sales person must of had it confused with another model.
