Location: champaign, illinois | I talked with Dan Klauser (Klauser Marine) Sunday and he said it was open.
Our club has a meeting tonight and I cross the Bruce-Findlay bridge so will give an "eye witness" report tomorrow though I would have to say with the tremendous winds we had yesterday (gusts up to 40mph) that if there is any ice left it'd be the size used for cocktails.

Location: Alexandria, MN | Thanks for the updates!
I am only 6 weeks away from my first trip down there, can't wait.
Looking forward to the trip, glad to hear things are open and warming up.

Location: champaign, illinois | All,
It was a bit dark when we drove over but you could plainly see the lake is quite open but low (Actually it's at normal winter pool of 594'ASL. Lake maps are based on normal summer pool of 600'ASL).
I opened my window for a better look and I believe I heard a couple muskies calling my name! Now THAT'S cabin fever!
