Jim Devenport, my friend and associate lost his father to a battle with cancer just a couple weeks ago. He moved his Mom up here from KY directly after, and just about the time affairs with his Dad's passing were finished, she took ill, and passed away unexpectedly the 21st. Mr. Bluegill, Sue, Keith and I attended the funeral tonight. I cannot imagine the pain to lose both parents so quickly.

Jim my friend, I am sooooo sorry for your family's loss. May your world brighten again very soon, and the wind be at your back in the future.

Jim-

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. To lose one parent is bad enough, but to lose both in such a short period of time....there is nothing I could possibly say to help. Just be aware that we all share in your loss.

Jim- My prayers are with you during this time of grieving. May each day blossom a little brighter as you and your family go forward. Rejoice in their memories and take comfort that they are together again.

Jim, this is an ultimate test of faith. Selfishly, we always want our loved ones around forever. As unbelievably sad as this time is for you, from a religious standpoint they both are in a much better place with God. It is a place without worries, pain, or suffering, only the best of everything for them. This fact in itself hopefully will help give you some sense of relief in your in your time of grief.
Our prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies. Could not fathom losing both my parents in a couple week span. The Lord works in strange ways, but always provides. Steve

Jim sends his gratitude for the concern expressed here and thanks all who have had him and his family in their prayers.
