| I scan ebay for deals on musky lures occasionaly; by the way, it's amazing that some folks pay full price or higher for a used lure that is easily found on the new market. Any idea how why that is?
But my real question is: what's with Le Lures? Those puppies are selling for $50 to $100! They must be collectors putting those prices stratospherically high - no single lure can possibly be worth $100. |

Location: DES MOINES, IOWA | Lure collectors are buying them up, and driving prices up.I started lure collecting on a limited basis, but it is hard to get very good buys on EBAY, because of the unknowledgeable people bidding this stuff way above what its worth. |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | Lelures in good shape under 100, especially close to 50 may be good prices. There are some that come by here that have offered lelures to me for over 150... Save your money and buy original Mouldy's Hawg wobblers, slmr creepers etc... They work just as well despite not having the hefty price tag and the fancy paint. If you want to spend $50 on a creeper buy the creepenstein or bride of creepenstein...or two or three slmr's... I think I can find original Glober's for cheaper then a lelure one would cost me.. |

| That ebay sale that lobi linked above...$14,000 for one collectable! That, boys 'n' girls, is one hellava fishing trip in the best Musky waters anywhere with plenty of funds left over to supply the best scotch for the entire month!

Location: W. PA. | 14,000 is nothing to that guy evidently. He paid like 34,000 for a lure last year and I just saw him again now bidding a heddon box, no lure, up to almost 5,000. I don't have a link to it but just search heddon box and hit highest priced I'm sure it'll be number 1.

| Lobi, A Haskell minnow sold in December for $92,000 and with buyers fee it was around 101K. That's the most I know for a single bait. I have sold several over 1k, and a few over 5K. I used to go to about 5 or 6 antique lure shows a year and you would be shocked to see the cash money change hands. The guy with the Haskell minnow was offered a NEW Dodge Viper for even trade at the National last July. I think he did a little better at the auction:)

Very nice offer Randy. I'm sure you will get a few bites.
It IS amazing the ammount of loose change (in the form of $10,000 bills) some people have to throw around isn't it? With my wife carrying our 5th child and 4 boys tearing thru the boxes of cereal, I'm lucky to buy a few new musky lures once in a while  . Maybe I'll shoot you a pic of a few of my home made musky baits and ask your opinion of future value (like one hundred years from now). It seems like often the highest priced old lures are musky or at least musky sized baits.
