Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I poured my own Creatures for years, and sold them wholesale too. It is inexpensive, not too difficult, alot of fun, but stinky. I will see if I can locate the package a gent sent to me a year ago with some of my old Sysyem Lures creatures in it, and upload a photo. |

Location: NeverNever Lake | Ralph, it all kinda started in the second grade with the introduction of the Creepy Crawlers Factory. Ive been through 3 gallons of the stuff in the past few years. It's a lot of fun as Steve said and the fumes are nasty. I'm getting ready to put a Sharp Half-Pint Microwave on the boat sos I can pour out on the lake. I can cool the molds off in the livewell.....................................C'RAZE'Y 1

I don't pour my own, but I have a sponsor(Bearpaws Handpoured Baits)
that makes them for me. They are much better than any of the mass produced plastics you buy at the tackle store. 
You can add any scent you want and they hold up so much better, than any I have ever used before.

| Any hints at how to get started, where to get the stuff ect.? On a related note, how about pouring hard plastics? I am aware that it would involve a lot more stuff but it must be do-able, 'cause there sure is a lot of different baits, with different quality levels. |

| Stripe55, to do hard plastics you would need an injection molding machine. Also depending on what kind of plastic you will need a dryer for the resin then you would need a thermolator to cool the mold off. It can be done but the start up would be kind of expensive. I've always wanted to get a small press set up in my polebarn and do something like that if I had the money. You can buy some used stuff to get started look up plastic news they have alot of used stuff for sale.

I hand pour the tails of these 10'' swimming jigs. Great baits for euro Pike. Also have a 10'' soft jerkbait.

Location: NeverNever Lake | Thanks Luca, I'd like to have a couple of those jigs also. Maybe we could trade sometime in the near future. I just attempted to make my first 100% silicone mold for a 10" Senko. I didn't mix water with it, so it didn't dry.

Send me an e-mail and I will reply back with a manufacturer of them. I pour my own and use to sell them but don't care to pour that amount anymore. This company has many options and colors and in that quantity you can buy from them if you have a tax number.
