Posts: 941 Location: Freedom, WI | Stan did a few of my Nitros last fall and that retro green on a cloudy day was nice. The blue to green color shift stuck out great, but not too loud as to startle you.

Posts: 2753 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Lobi- Stan's custom "Purple Daze" is extremely difficult to photograph, i.e., because of the optical qualities of the paint he's using causes the percieved color to shift based on the light angle and the viewing angle. Probably also why he doesn't list it on his website. Take your #1 favorite lure & get it painted "purple daze" you won't be sorry. Al Warner "All Water is Zalt Water"

Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | I found the Durst Purple Haze on his site, but not the Pearson Perch or Total Reverse Super Perch. http://www.durstproducts.com/products.htm If anyone got a pic maybe they could post it?

Posts: 2753 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Here's Purple Daze photographed from a different angle, i.e., compared to Stan's web site. The middle li'l Ernie and the lil' jake. The flash in the water is awesome! Al Warner "ALl Water is Zalt Water" http://www.zaltnad.com

Posts: 172 Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio | I don't think Stan knows how to paint a bait in a pattern that doesn't work. I would just key in on the forage base of the lake you want to fish and run with what he's got to offer. He's a great guy, and produces outstanding patterns that you just don't see hangin' on a hook at the baitshop. Made a big difference in my success this year. Tyler

Posts: 1137 Location: Holly, MI | I have a Purple daze swim whizz. It is awesome, changes from purple to green to gold at different angles (like a real fish). Like Kevin said.."Pearson Perch or Total Reverse Super Perch" These are mystery colors to most of us.
