| Today, flat calm, bluebird skies, 44 degree water, suckers, crankbaits, jerkbaits, bucktails, spinnerbaits, topwater,
live action lures.....deep, shallow and in between....all we saw was a 24"er. Don't these fish watch the videos that they star in? Time is running out this season...Where did my dynamite go? |

| Steve, I was out all day too. What boat did you have? I was the nutjob in the green and white misty river trolling with boards. Had two strikes at dark and had a mid thirties follow when we casted awhile. Hardly any green weeds. Talked to one other person who had a sucker pick up. Seen plenty of pewaukee porpoise at the surface today. Any big arches I marked were very very deep. |

As you are aware, the muskies rarely read the books, and NEVER read magazines.
If you can get them to do what they are 'supposed' to do, then you have something that needs to be bottled and marketed...

| Todd, I saw you out there. I've got a two tone Tuffy Esox Magnum with black metalflake on top and silver metal flake below.
I use a 115 hp Yamaha.
Steve, the fish have Monday through Friday to do their best imitation of bottom structure with lock jaw! I don't feel the need to catch them all, which actually wouldn't be a bad concept, but seeing a few would be nice! Good luck with the 30 point buck! |

| We went up there because of the bear/packer game and new the lake would not be crowded. I lost a fuzzy duzzit when I beleive I snagged a sunken car. It's off the first point west of the big ship on the lake in the west basin. We were trolling and I was desparate so I was jigging it behind the boat in between my rods hoping it would attract some attention.[::)] |

| I was out there too with JM_03! We were in a Maroon and Silver Champion (Chapter 11). We managed to get a dink 34 on a sucker. Had 5-6 pickups all day til 2pm. Saw one of the famed beasts that Pewaukee has to offer, all she did was snif the sucker and look at it for 5-10 min. I guess I should have twitched the bait, too late now. How the mind revels in to the fish on the drive home on what you should have done. I know where she is, I will get her on sunday! All our action came from 7:30am -10am
