Location: Michigan U.P. | I am planning a trip to GB the last week of July and was wondering if anyone has stayed at the North Bay Shore campground north of Oconto. My partner used a guide last season and they fished south of Oconto, weed flats and down near Little Tail for a few days. I have some areas down that way to fish but was wondering if the area up north is viable for that time of the season. That would save me a longboat ride or trailering each morning. Any insight on the area or lodging would be greatly appreciated.

| This won't be the yes or no you are looking for but I will tell you what I have learned fishing too many hours out there, the whole bay is viable outside of spawn and real late fall. Find bait, find fish. I promise you it's not just the community spots that hold fish, don't be afraid to take an adventure. |
