Location: Eastern Ontario | Usually flouro changed frequently, wire when pounding rock humps. I frequently use wire line no leader I have often had 4 lines out 3 flouro 1wire and all hits coming on the wire never figured out why don't think its depth lead often less than 50 feet. Something tells me its vibration. I've been trying to figure these things out since 1970 and still not sure of anything. |

Location: oswego, il | I make my own 3ft flouro leaders. If I used wire it would be coated wire. Muskies can roll and damage their bodies with bare wire. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I've had muskies roll in coated wire which is braided but never had one roll in solid wire. I'm not saying it can't happen just never seen it. |

| I crimp my own 3ft-4ft flouro leaders. Nice to be able to grab the leader and not have the line cut your hand. |

I use the 130#, works for me. Also, check out their line of weighted leaders. m |
