Have always used the Musky Shows to look/assess new lures for the year. Since it is unlikely we will have that opportunity in 2021 what are the new things that excite you so far.

New Baits for 2021
Musky Innovations NEW Swimmin' Invader is a good one. Used these last season and they were great. Musky Innovations also has the new screw in magnets available on their website to put on Swimmin Invaders and Shallow Invaders. You screw them into the rubber tail and it holds the hook up and eliminates tangling and any need to modify these lures anymore.
Muskie Train- Came out with a bigger Diesel called the Mag Diesel- had some of these at the end of last season - great bait there will be some huge fish caught on these this season. Pic below is Diesel next to the New Mag Diesel.
Team Rhino Outdoors should have these next week and Dorn's in Madison will have them mid March.

Jeff, just making sure I understand, you add the magnet to the tail on a Shallow Invader and the rear hook stays up, doesn't get tangled? I like the bait but when I tried a modification I saw in MH, it stopped the tangle but seemed to mess up the action (maybe just perception?).

Here is a pic of the New Swimmin' Invader with the magnet put in. I have not noticed any difference in action with the magnet attached.

Thanks! Have a couple Shallow Invaders and they do catch fish but can be frustrating. Will give that try.

Jeff,
Will Dorn's be getting the magnets and swimming invader replacement tails? Trying to give them as much business as possible.

Thanks,
Kirk

Hi Kirk,
They are getting the Swimmin' Invaders so I would assume they will have replacement tails also. Not sure on the magnets I will let you know on that.

Love that Mag Diesel I’ve caught some big fish on the reg size can’t wait to run the big one. How soon will the Swimming invader be available in stores?

The magnets are also great in bulldawgs. I used a few last season that were a little smaller than the new ones it appears. They worked very well and I would highly recommend them!

I scooped-up some of the Regular Shallow Swimmin Dawgs. Anxious to try them on some winter stripers and muskies...could be an excellent tarpon bait too. I really like the action on the Mag Shallows, curious to try the little brother.

Fig 8- Swimmin' Invaders will be available On Musky Innovations website in Feb. and Scheduled to be in retailers sometime in April.

513- There is 2 Different sizes of magnets now. The one I pictured is the larger one. I mainly use that one it has more holding power which is better for me fishing heavy weeds. Both sizes are good and will not effect action on lures.

The Big Sexy Shad by Esox Pursuit. It’s a hybrid swimbait that can also be fished with a curly tail like a bulldawg. Resin head and rubber tails that can be removed and replaced.
