Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | The other wedding topic reminded me to post some pictures of ours finnally. My fiance and I were married in August, and after the ceremony we decided to go to the water. We headed to my buddies pond that has a couple muskies in it, and took a few pics from the dock. My buddy had a rod along so my bride took a few casts and had a fish about 42" hit right in front of the whole wedding party. We got it on video which was cool(the fish splashed her white dress a bit) but the pictures showed the fish coming up before she got it to go on the 8. At the dance, my dad brought out a bunch of antique musky rods and the whole place serenaded us. That was a moment she and I will never forget!!!!! The last pic was taken down by the river that we fish quite often Edited by Reef Hawg 1/7/2004 9:27 AM Attachments ---------------- wedding serenade 001.jpg (59KB - 321 downloads) wedding serenade 002.jpg (37KB - 305 downloads) wedding serenade.jpg (48KB - 306 downloads) wedding serenade 003.jpg (107KB - 299 downloads)

Posts: 32888 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Great pictures! Muskie anglers are a strange breed, are hey not? How many golfers, volley ball or soccer players, hunters, etc. have you ever heard of holding a putter or other sporting equipment above the new couple and singing? How many brides have you seen posing with a driver or a scattergun in the wedding attire? Congratulations to you both. Your children will look at those pictures when they are teens and shake their heads.

Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | Funny Steve, cause she and I look at the photos now and have a good laugh. Dad had em play 'fishin' in the dark during our dance' which was pretty neat. Just after the prayer at dinner, we announced that anyone wanting us to kiss would have to cast the 6" Reef hawg into the bucket from about 12 feet away. It beat the annoying tinging of the glass we thought. It was kind of easy, so we ended up interrupting our dinner quite often. LOL Here is my cousin Todd with his daughter Samantha giving it a try. Wasn't really fair, as she was already a practiced MN musky angler before they got there. Attachments ---------------- casting for a kiss.jpg (46KB - 165 downloads)

Thanks Handy. You have a great son there, and a heckuva musky fisherman the little stinker is too!!!! I plan on fishing all three days. Monica wants to go on Saturday with us wherever we go. Should we hit the pike on Friday, or go for gillies? We could hit eau pleinne if you wish too, but I don't know where to go out there anymore. Todd, funny you mention it. Turned 30 a couple days ago, and the grays are coming in today. Weird, man, weird.

Posts: 2378 | Reef Hawg, I did the cast for a kiss thing at my wedding and had the same results. Should have made it 50 feet I guess. Cool pictures! Wish my wife was that into it.
