Posts: 20188 Location: oswego, il | Looked for an explanation as to what these numbers mean but all I can find is that these are the numbers. as near as I can tell the numbers are 77J44A49P17. An internet search of that number does not bring up anything. I am guessing this is a 17 pitch prop but in trying to find what it is exactly, cannot even find that on the mercury site unless you are for sure that is a 17p prop. Diameter I have no clue and most places need that to buy one. It is on a 115 optimax, I am looking to have a spare. Attachments ---------------- DSC05286.JPG (193KB - 549 downloads)

Posts: 742 Location: Grand Rapids MN | Guessing it's a 3 bladed prop? I'll compare to some numbers I had looked at for my 115 Merc when I was trying stuff out. Also I have two SS props in 17 pitch I can't use any more. One is PowerTech RXB4 (with hub) and the other Trophy Plus (without hub) if at all interested, both 4 blades. $200 each and will work out something on shipping.

To me it looks like 77344A45P17 which is a valid merc prop # for 115s.

Posts: 20188 Location: oswego, il | That was the number. I ordered another for a spare. Thanks for the help. Targa, thanks for the offer. I don't have a need for a stainless prop. I dont run flat out much at all, prefer a nice cruising speed. I would also rather replace an aluminum prop vs possible worse damage from a stainless.

Posts: 2 | The surest solution to your problem is if you take this part or its photo and go to the nearest store, so the seller can help you, since they have all the databases of components that are sorted by such numbers. Searching the Internet is a very strange thing, especially if you are looking for any numbers or numbers. I was looking for a pipe with a diameter of 55mm, but in the end I found a website https://www.sunsigns.org/angel-number-55-meaning/ which is why I started studying numerology. I liked it so much that I can't stop now... I hope you can find the necessary part, good luck!
