Posts: 20218 Location: oswego, il | What are some good ones? Seems like a google search now won't bring many up just big name companies already in the US and the big US on line tackle retailers. Used to be.a bunch of wood jerkbaits and gliders. Can't find them anymore. My favorites as of now, although plastic are the original zalt and the zam especially the 22cm which now seems very hard to find even though it's still on the zalt website. What are some others that aren't represented here in the US?

Posts: 268 Location: Central Pennsylvania | I was actually just looking around an hour or so ago, and a few of the (sadly) UK only pike lures are the Rapala x-rap otus and peto, the spro flapper tail (which i really wish was in the US), and that is just to name a few. I am sure there are many more that musky would love.

Posts: 26 | I think the Headbanger lures were originally made by a swedish angler for euro pike. I think recently they have become fairly popular here in the states. My buddy has one and it has great action in the water.

Posts: 264 | The "Kanalgratis" website has many pike lures, many of which I believe are European only. Kanlagratis has a You Tube series called 'Fly vs Jerk' that is a competition between flyfishers and standard tackle (jerk) guys fishing for pike. They have some great footage and do show some very large pike. They have both flys and standard tackle lures. The have a variety of hard baits and lots of very interesting plastics/rubber as well. I've used the Flatnose Dragon soft plastic and done well with that. I have used their Dobb Daddy Spin Fly with great success in the NWT and Manitoba. One they don't have that has also been great for me is the Abu "Hairy Killer". www.lureshop.eu has those but I believe they are all out of stock right now. Talmooner

Posts: 43 | I ordered a few of the x-raps opus, they came from Lithuania Caught crap from my wife on ordering lures from Lithuania. "So you have bought all of the musky lures in the states and now you have go to Europe to buy lures"

Posts: 676 Location: Wisconsin | I buy stuff from Harris Sportsmail from the UK. They ship to the USA and it's very reasonable. Takes a bit to get here. Check under lures. https://www.harrissportsmail.com/usa Some of the Swedish sites have big plastics and jerkbaits, but shipping was like 35 bucks

Posts: 256 | For those who dont want to pay shipping costs, give it time. A lot of the pike brands here seem to be trying to follow Swartzonker and wolfcreek by making a push into the muskie market. You probably wont have to wait too much. Now, if only muskie rod makers where more interested in the euro big pike market...

Posts: 343 | I would try to get ahold of or hope he answers your post Cicciospin, as he is a big pike fisherman in Italy who is as crazy about pike as most muskie anglers are about muskies. Francesco uses a lot of US muskie lures but also should be up to date on the European pike lures.

Hello, my friend!!! as Danny said I am a fanatic of American lures dedicated to musky but I also use European lures a lot ... in my opinion one of the best is the Fox Rage Replicant ... lately they have also made the 14 "version (Giant Replicant)
