Looking for positive or negative feedback on Gatorbak bunk covers. I like the concept of the product, and seriously considering them, but would like to hear some honest real world experience from people that have used them. Thanks for the input.

I like mine, I'm planning to put together a video of my process. I put lights in my bunks as well and I like them when loading in the dark or low light. I also like that it appears that I'm not getting as many sticks and twigs caught in my carpeting before I load.

I do make sure my bunk is wet before I load.

How difficult was it to cut in a channel for the LEDs?

Finished installing my GatorBak covers today. Was really pretty easy and I’m very happy with the end result. Absolutely outstanding customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong size for my side guides and when I called them they sent me the right size overnight at no charge (even though it was my fault). Great product by a great company made here in Minnesota!

love mine as well. I used a router and cut slots in the 2X6 bunks for the LEDs. I have a ranger 620 and only put the lights on the 1st 3 feet of the bunks closest to the winch so we could see at night. Ivd had them on for 2 seasons. No more wet spots in garage from wet bunk carpet.

Why not just get these - https://www.ultimatebunkboards.com/?

Price is a little higher on the ultimate bunk boards, but those will last forever. Won't the wood still rot eventually using the gatorbak covers?

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while. Yes, simply router the grove, it's really easy. I'm not worried about my wood rotting after how I prepped it, primed and painted it.
