Posts: 35 | I have two Diawa Regal LT’s. They are a great value at about $60 and have held up very well for me, which is why I bought a second. They are mostly used for bass, but the 2500 has been on fly-in trips for pike in Northern Canada where they’ve been tested on many large fish up to 46”. A 3000 would definitely do the job on Musky.

Posts: 782 | muskymartin67 - 8/10/2020 6:47 AM In that case, I would still look at saltwater designed reels. Penn Pursuit line at 60 bucks, or bps Offshore angler series of reels. Posts: 782 | Muskie101 - 8/14/2020 1:31 PM No sarcasm here. But wait for Christmas or ur birthday and ask your family members to pick you up some Bass Pro Shops gift cards, and then go pick up one of the reels that was mentioned earlier. Posts: 36 Location: Kansas City MO | The previous thread mentioned a maximum of $100 and this one a maximum of $50? I would definitely save up. You can't get anything remotely reliable for $50!
