| Just wanted to thank Larry for giving us that info on the record muskie. It has cleared up alot of questions for me and I am sure others.
If I may comment though. I too do not think a fish sould be counted if it was shot before landing even if it was legal then. Netting a fish whether it is green or tierd out, is a big part in landing fish and I have lost a few over the years during that process. Shooting a fish at boat side is easy. The hook could fall out or get snagged in the net affter shooting and that fish is not going anywhere. I'm sure If I asked the board, the results would be that everyone has lost a fish during the landing process.
Thanks again for the info Larry and no slight against you on the shooting part. I just have a diffrent take on it.
Cory
