Location: Northern IL | Greg, Even though Shelbyville is 2 hours closer I have not spent enough time there to fish it at this time of year with much confidence. At this time I feel we must have our spots pegged before arriving.
I have been fishing during the Christmas break at Kinkaid for the last 4 years or so and have done ok but when ya gotta go ya gotta go.

| I would hit shelbyville on the way down for a day, as it is a no brain to fish and has some huge ones in it. Then head down to kinkaid for the rest of the time and enjoy 17th street bar and grill in the evening....doesn't get much better...good luck, Ben |
