Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Just finished installing a complete One Boat Network on my 1625 Fury XL. It's really nice to be able to use any transducer including the Mega from the Ultrex on board for my sonars, and especially nice to share the 360 screen from the front Helix 10 G3N to the console Helix Meg 8. I have a front deck Helix 7 on the network as well, keeping a Helix 5 at the console separated for some of our scheduled videos. Talon is also bluetoothed in. Keith and I got it done in a couple hours without drilling any new holes.
I'll mess around with the auto nav feature, waypoint sharing, and the rest when I hit the water next. Pretty amazing stuff.

| Steve,
I can't wait to see how it all works out for you. I think it's pretty cool how technology has changed. |

Location: Germantown,wi | Steve, I am picking up a new boat next thursday and will be setting up with humminbird. With the units networked what transducer needs to be used. I bought the minn kota ulterra with mdi built it. I bought a helix 9 with side imaging and debating on the other humminbird unit. I know I need to buy the box they all connect to. Is there a difference in transducers? I havent bought a new unit since a bottomline 6600.
Thanks |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The network allows you to see the images from any transducer on each networked unit. Think of it as network cables for computers, if the head is connected to 'ducer '2', that image will be displayed. As you order G# 'Bird unit, you will get the correct transducers. Because you have the Ulterra coming with the mega 'ducer you will have an extra you can keep or sell. Hope this helps! |

Location: Germantown,wi | Thanks much! I've watched quite a few videos and have an understanding now. Only thing I'm undecided in is what unit to buy for the bow. |
